Kul Tiras (also spelled as Kul'Tiras) is a human city-state built on an island once located south-west of Lordaeron and west of Khaz Modan. During the Cataclysm, the island was shifted out to sea by shifting tectonic plates: both the land's and the city's current whereabouts is unknown. It's the homeland of Jaina Proudmoore, a major Alliance character who angrily teleported away at the beginning of the "Legion”story arc and hasn't been seen since. Kul' Tiras helped out the Alliance during the plots of Warcraft 2 and Warcraft 3, but aside from a few scattered references over the years, the nation itself has never appeared in World of Warcraft.

During the Second War, the maritime nation pledged its fleets to the Alliance of Lordaeron; Lord Admiral Daelin Proudmoore, ruler of Kul Tiras, became the famed Grand Admiral of the Alliance. The city-state has fallen silent since Daelin's death in a Horde assault on the city of Theramore shortly after the Third War. While it was a member of the original Alliance, Kul Tiras has become silent after the Third War and its exact status remains a mystery at the current time. It is notably inaccessible in World of Warcraft, although its influence can be seen throughout the game.

The island isn't even on the world map anymore after the events of“Cataclysm”reshaped the world, but some Kul' Tiras soldiers appear in certain“Legion”quests, so it almost certainly still exists somewhere in the ocean. One of the relevant pieces of gear in the PTR contains a map stitched into the side of a robe's skirt (weird fashion choice) that looks an awful lot like a new World of Warcraft area.

The map on the robe is surrounded by tentacles, which in the visual language of Warcraft means Old Gods. Those are the Warcraft universe's version of Lovecraftian cosmic horror, four powerful entities that have either played a part in major story threads or even been raid bosses. Of the four Old Gods in Azeroth, only one remains living: N' Zoth, who is said to be buried beneath the sea.

Combining the origin of Kul Tria and our above narration, you may get some clues about the next expansion for World of Warcraft. How will the Blizzard react for the new every two years' change? Whether the next one maintain some typical features in current expansion? For further info, Raiditem will keep updating. Meanwhile, we welcome you to buy warcraft gold here. Thanks for your reading.
