Guide for Geting Your Warlock Fel Fire in WoW at Level 100

Today, you are going to read the guides about how to start the quest, the quest chain, and The Black Temple part. Firstly, how can you start the quest? To start the green-fire quest, you’ll have to be lucky basically. You’ll have to farm the mobs, especially the rare elite ones, from Isle of the Thunder, for the Ancient Tablet. There is a ~2% chance for this Tome to drop, so prepare to spend a little time farming those mobs. The fastest way is to buy that Tome from Auction House. Usually the price is somewhere around 12k WoW gold.

This is the hardest part of the quest to be honest. If you don’t have the WoW gold for the Tome, it may take a while until it drops for you.

Secondly, the quest chain. Now that that you have the Tome you’ll have to unlock it with your Healthstones and after that you’ll be the happy owner of The Codex of Xerrath, but unfortunately you wont be able to read it. Your minions can help you with that. Try summoning them and see what they know about the Codex. (Hint: felhunter/observer is a pretty smart demon). You’ll be sent to your capital city, Orgrimmar or Stormwind, to seek help from your Warlock Trainer. He will give you a Journal and ask you to search for some long lost Soulstones. •Blade’s Edge (77,31)

Thirdly, the Black Temple part. This is a solo scenario, for warlocks only, and it has 8 stages. Most of the scenario you’ll have to dodge some guards, find and talk to Akama, and collect treasures. Keep in mind that if you level the scenario, you’ll be able to continue from where you left it.As level 100 you don’t have to really worry about anything inside the scenario. Just follow the scenario stages and you’ll get to the final boss.

Here if you want to be sure you’ll complete the quest, you should Enslave the Pit Lord (this was a must before WoD), and keep nuking the boss. If your warlock is at lest LFR geared you should be able to only focus on Kanrethad, without worrying about any ads.

After completing the scenario, the Kanrethad Ebonlocke demon, that you just defeated, was banished and held next to the Altar of Damnation in Shadowmoon Valley (42,43). There you’ll learn your The Codex of Xerrath, that will transform your warlock fire into fel fire.

Also, if you want to switch back to normal fire you can do so in the same place.

Just because you are completing the quest now, in WoD, you won’t get the Breaker of the Black Harvest achievement nor the title that comes with it,of the Black Harvest.

In conclusion, the quest chain is the same, but at level 100 with a little bit of WoW gears. The final boss fight from Black Temple scenario is really trivial.
