WoW Classic May Be Available Soon as Its Beta Entry Appears

For those of you who don't know, a content delivery network is a "geographically distributed group of servers which work together to provide fast delivery of internet content". Blizzard uses one for the transfer of terabytes worth of assets, patches, updates, and other game content for use in their Battle.net game service, as with a number of other online services.

If the recent scheduling of the patch 8.2 PTR for World of Warcraft Battle of Azeroth is to be followed, we can expect the playable PTR beta for World of Warcraft Classic to hit two weeks after, that is, if Blizzard allows it.

The news broke big in social media after a tweet from user @MrGMYT confirmed it, a few minutes after the initial post made it to wowhead.com, one of the game's leading story brokers.

For those interested, Blizzard released a guide on how to sign up for a World of Warcraft Classic beta once it becomes available.

There is currently no public Beta version of WoW Classic. For a chance at being selected if a Beta becomes available, make sure Warcraft is checked on the Beta Profile settings in Blizzard account management.

The highly-anticipated WoW Classic has had players talking for a number of reasons; it's looking to bring back most of the charm of nostalgia, even going as far as to replicate certain Vanilla WoW bugs to drive the point home. Surely, people would like to buy WoW Classic gold also because the beta includs two zones, Barrens for the Horde and Westfall for the Allliance.
