Blizzard Reintroduced WoW Ulduar Raid to Modern Players

Ulduar was introduced in the second expansion, World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Litch King. Since the expansion released ten years ago, Blizzard Entertainment thought it nice to reintroduce the raid to its game for a little while. Yes, you can go back to your World of Warcraft roots, when Ulduar returns to World of Warcraft during the week of 22 May 2018.

Players can group up with up to 30 players, and complete the raid in all of its classic glory. Newer players need not fret, however. The raid has been updated to make use of the new additions the game engine has received since then. Alternatively, you can make use of the newer World of Warcraft features like the "Premade Groups" in order to quickly lob yourself into a party and go adventuring.

Getting into Ulduar is as easy as using the in-game group finder. A non-playable character (NPC) called Vormu is located in the Crystalsong zone, at Dalaran in Northrend. Vormu will help you on your merry way to Ulduar. Once in, players can expect 14 boss fights which include Old God Yogg, Saron and other terrifying foes.

The Ulduar raid was featured in the original release of Wrath of the Lich King, which was one of the early major expansion packs for World of Warcraft and helped redefine and reshape how a lot of gamers played Blizzard's MMO.

Ulduar just last a short period and some of you may miss that last week. But don't worry, Ulduar will return to being a legacy raid.
