The Prestige Level is a new honor system added in Legion 7.0. Players can gain the Honor Points by Rated BattleGround, World Quest and Arena leveling to upgrade Honor Level. Honor Level will be switched to Prestige level when it reaches to rank 50. Then it will unlock the new Prestige Level option, but Hornor Level will reset to 0.
The Prestige Level is mainly for farming Honor Level endless to rank 50, then switch to Prestige Level. You can gain unique Portraits, Mounts, Pets, Artifact Appearance, Achievements and so on. One of Artifact Weapons Appearance will unlock four tints with the player's Prestige level upgrades. Each season has his Prestige upper limit, and the Prestige Level will upgrade during leveling.
Players will not get more gears or better talent skill when boosting Prestige Level. As a regular player, only need to upgrade the Honor Level to rank 46. Then it will unlock all PvP talent from talent tree.
For PVP fans, this is a huge motivator. But also it is a big challenge since there is no PVP talent can choose after switched to Honor Level.
