Each choice you make will change its Abilities and Appearance. Artifact Power is the resource used to strengthen tree of traits and unlock additional abilities and features within an artifact weapon. Same as previous talent points, you can not unlock the next Artifact Trait without Artifact Power. So the Artifact Power is the primary item that players need to collect after getting Artifact Weapon. Players will reward Artifact Power by fighting Raid Bosses, Rare mobs, treasures, World Quest, Winning battlegrounds and so on. Mostly Artifact Power points gathered in forms of item reward, so please determine if your spec is wanted before using props. Lightning all traits of Artifact need a massive amount of Artifact Power, it requires you to spend 3-4 months to lighten all traits of Artifact.
Players can raise the speed of obtaining Artifact Power by studying Artifact Knowledge Level in Order Hall. The higher Artifact Knowledge Level, the more Artifact Power. Also, a massive amount of Artifact Power needed in the late expansion, not to mention the double or triple specs artifact.
Collecting Artifact Power and unlocking all traits not only to pour strong power into Artifact Weapon but also unlock Artifact appearance. Artifact Power is the basic of strengthening Artifacts!
